Caliper Updates

From the CEO

Two new Caliper features are highlighted on a product screenshot: additional dimensional data pills for accounts as a default, and the right-click menu to drill in, copy, or exclude the selected value on the visualization.

We released several new features on Caliper this weekend, much to the joy of our growing customer base. These features solve a huge amount of pain in an easy to use, flexible way without having to push down tags to the database layer.

User Defined Grouping & Aliasing

Caliper users now have the ability to create grouping or aliasing for any dimensional data pills.  For example, you can right click a pill on the left-hand side and then group your tags, accounts, etc. into company-specific groupings, such as R&A/G&A or Test/Production. You can also use this new feature to create cost centers for reporting purposes, or to correct tagging errors or aliasing if those tags evolved over time.  You can now create multiple groups for each dimensional data pill at the click of a button.

Connect your AWS Account ID Alias

Now everyone has the ability to connect to your account name alias in AWS. That means displaying a name as opposed to the 12-digit AWS number for data analysis. Account identification, made even easier.

Connect your AWS Organization Units

This new feature allows you to connect to AWS organizations which group accounts together as a single unit for data analysis.

Exclude Filtering

Caliper users can now exclude filters by right-clicking on any of the bars or keys to visualization.

Copy Values

It’s now easy to copy data information on visualization by simply right clicking.

We’ve already seen usage bump up today. Try these new features today at millworks.ai/caliper or I’d love to get my team to give you a demo.
